The Immune System Booster Shot To Stay Healthy This Cold-And-Flu Season

You can bolster your immune system with this immune booster shot recipe! It is brimming with immune-boosting, healthy ingredients, including garlic, ginger, lemon, orange, apple cider vinegar; honey; and turmeric.

How Come This Recipe Is So Good?

  • It contains many healthy nutrients that have been proven to offer a range of health advantages. Am I stating that it will miraculously cure all of your ailments? Obviously not! But this mixture of spices and liquids is supported by science and reasoning.
  • Have you tried fire cider? Well, this immunity injection works similarly. But, drinking it is much simpler. There are no horseradish or onions, and you don't need to soak the ingredients in ACV for days or weeks beforehand. Seriously, this one is quite tasty!
  • Apart from the orange and the lemon, you can store everything you need for an immune booster shot in your pantry or refrigerator, ensuring that you are ready anytime you start to sniffle or feel that tingle in the back of your throat. Yet, even if you don't have the components close at hand, you shouldn't have to make a special effort to find anything. Quite certainly, your neighborhood grocery store carries everything!

What’s In an Immune System Booster?

Don't be put off by the ingredients. I'll make good on my word—this elixir is extremely tasty! You'll actually look forward to sipping this at-home treatment because it is naturally sweet with a touch of zing.
  • HoneyRich in antioxidants and often used to soothe sore throats. It adds a natural sweetness to the drink.
  • Garlic. Known to boost the function of the immune system, and in studies, it has been shown to reduce the symptoms of a common cold.
  • Cayenne. Contains capsaicin which is known to have a number of health benefits. It’s said to help boost metabolism and lower blood pressure.
  • Black Pepper. Just a pinch, is used to activate the curcumin in the turmeric.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar. Can kill harmful bacteriakeep your digestive system on track, and support your immune system. It’s important that you use an organic, raw, unfiltered ACV that contains “the mother”, which is made up of strains of proteins, enzymes, and good bacteria (a.k.a. probiotics!).

Chefs Tips

  • All of your components, especially the spices, should be fresh. Avoid bottled orange juices because they are heavily processed and include numerous additives. Use unfiltered ACV rather than filtered, and fresh ginger and garlic rather than paste, dried, or canned versions.
  • Give the garlic some time to rest. Cutting garlic cloves unleashes the enzymes that produce beneficial substances like allicin and antioxidants. It takes more than just chopping it to create those chemicals; those enzymes want oxygen to react in order to do so. The longer you can allow the sliced garlic to sit and oxidize, the more potent those compounds will be. It holds true whether you're preparing an immune system booster or simply preparing dinner as usual. Thus, give your garlic a rest between uses to reap additional advantages.

Can I Make This Ahead of Time?

Yes, technically. For optimal immune-boosting effects, it's recommended to consume the concoction right away because the ingredients are at their peak freshness. That said, if you must, you can prepare it beforehand. To store the combination until you're ready to consume it, simply follow the recipe's instructions carefully. After creating the chilled immunity shot, consume it within two days!

Does This Immunity Shot Actually work?

You see, I'm not a doctor. I can't guarantee you that this immune booster shot will cure your fever, get rid of your sinus problems, or do anything else like that.

But I can tell you this: over quarantine, I caught myself becoming even more of a health freak than I already am and did tons of research on how to create the best immunity booster shot at home without having to buy a single overpriced one at the market every week.

Now?

Every time I start to feel a bit ill, I whip one of these up and hit the hay. And as it turns out, I've never truly fallen ill when I've done it. If I haven't already done it? UGH. Thus, I'll let you determine whether it "works" for you or not. For myself, I believe there is no damage in ingesting any of the substances (at least not for me personally), so why not take all the safety measures I can?
